Once again this year we will be holding our Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Meal on Tuesday 12th December at the Methodist Church Hall in Consett.
Young people, with the guidance from staff members, will organise, prepare and serve a full Christmas Dinner for Senior Citizens from local Residential Care Homes and other community groups. The event is always well enjoyed by both young people and senior citizens with the day being the perfect place to bridge the gap between the generations.
