On Thursday (March 6th), Firefly New Media held a logo design workshop for some of the kids at Consett Churches Detached Youth Project.

First we had an introduction and explained what we do, who we are and what we want to achieve. After the introduction we completed an exercise that involved naming companies and industries from their logo. Afterwards, we got straight into brainstorming and each of us chose a logo as an example and then gave an explanation of why we had chosen the logo in question. We also talked about brands, identities and what they do that makes them so important.

We then discussed what kind of logo we wanted to represent our charity and started to draw up some ideas. There were lots of good ideas but we finally decided on a great final design, then we were presented with certificates that were printed specially by Firefly New Media.
